Old School Model Works
In the summer of 2017, the company's management, 3D designers and modelers decided that the Royal Flying Core aircraft is the next gem of aircraft modeling to be presented to our dear customers, our dear friends.

The first phase, in the first two months, is dedicated to the detailed 3D modeling of the shape of the various parts. So, he gradually builds each part on his computer and with the help of special software. This means that if he starts designing the tail of the plane, he won't start another until that part is finished.
The second stage, in which the design is adapted and modified for the assembly process. Once the various related parts are completed, he 3D prints them or cuts them depending on the material to be able to verify proper assembly.
How Foam Aircraft Are Made
Artesania Latina's priority is always to try to achieve the greatest comfort of our model friends when assembling a scale model. If a part is not quite right, the 3D designer will make the appropriate adjustments until the item is properly aligned.
Our offices have state-of-the-art machines for physical inspection of digitally fabricated parts. On the one hand, a laser cutter that takes about 1 hour in total to cut all the pieces of wood. On the other hand, a 3D printer that prints resin (plastic). Our factory already has the necessary equipment to produce cast and mirror coated parts. So, finally, we have three production tools for this pearl pattern.
Of course, all the modifications that had to be made to the original design of the Sopwith Camel aircraft were made so that the final design would come out at its best when sent to the factory.
